World Logging Championships in Tartu witnessed a new world record! Jan Anděl of the Czechia showed a saw-chain fitting speed that was out of this world! The new record is 8.27 seconds. The previous record in this discipline (8.36 seconds) was held by Ole Harald Kveseth from Norway. The Norwegian is also competing at the WLC in Tartu and made a good result in fitting another chain here, too (8.78 seconds).
The WLC competitions go on until 16.30 today, on 21 April. The limbing competition tomorrow will also determine the new world champion.
All interested are welcome to the World Logging Championships venues at the Estonian University of Life Sciences and the Rural Fair!
